In Estonia, terrazzite plaster is a widely used plaster system. Many of the facades of buildings completed in Estonia in the 20th century were built using this method. Aruna-Ehitus OÜ offers the installation of terra cotta plaster for the construction and restoration of new and old buildings.

For the restoration of facades of old buildings, we use terra cotta plaster similar to the original, both in terms of colour and texture. We can carry out both spot repairs and full terracite rendering. We have favoured local render repairs in those parts of the wall where the base render is firmly adhered to the wall, but where there are through cracks due to subsidence. In this case, it does not make sense to dismantle plaster in good condition in order to replace it. The same situation applies to parts of the wall where the plaster has come off locally and a small amount of patching is required. A 100% render installation is necessary in those parts of the façade where the substrate is loose or coming loose. Such areas will be stripped down to the substrate, on which new terra cotta render will then be re-installed as a full solution. The installation of the full render is normally carried out within a specifically defined area e.g. corner to corner, slate to slate, etc. to avoid the old and new render joining.
